After approximately one year of varying lockdowns due to the unprecedented COVID-19 corona virus pandemic, PRISA held its first full contact training this past week in Bryanston, Johannesburg coordinated by Claudia Brittoe.

The training started with Professional Development Programme course “Facilitation, Mediation, Negotiation and Conflict Management” facilitated by Kenny Manaka and Victor Sibeko. In attendance was PRISA’s corporate client, the Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport.

“One of the most humbling and fulfilling moments was the realization how much delegates were looking forward to contact training.” says Victor Sibeko, PRISA CEO “The training kick started strategic business stakeholders value chain such as the venue, banqueting, conferencing, restaurant, printers and facilitators. We are delighted that PRISA is part of the organisations that are gearing up to get the wheels of economy rolling.” added Sibeko.

Most importantly, PRISA was delighted to be party to the Gauteng Province Department of Roads and Transport staff re-union coming from various units. The level of engagement and participation was of high standard, content resonated with their day-to-day experience. They were equally looking at both verbal feedback and course evaluation.

Commenting on the training, Kenny Manaka says “We, together embarked on a robust, informative and cajoling 2-day intensive workshop. Facilitation and Mediation skills was unpacked and delivered by Mr. Victor Sibeko while I engaged participants on a high notch Negotiation and Conflict management skills. “I am humbled to be a part of this endeavor.” Concluded Manaka.

In PRISA’s endeavours to continue making a meaningful contribution to the profession, the next full contact Corporate Training on “Advanced Writing”will be held in Kimberley from Monday, 15 to Friday 19 March 2021.
