“With just almost two weeks to go until the 22^nd PRISM Awards – the most sought-after awards in the public relations and communication industry, we’ve geared up to set a record for the most entries received ever! With the advent of technology entries were submitted online” says Palesa Madumo, PRISA Prism Awards Co-convenor.

This year, attracting and growing new talent is a key focus for the awards, and we planned to achieve this by making entering the awards more accessible to small and medium sized consultancies that are creating memorable communication strategies and making an impact on the industry.

Consultants are encouraged to partake in the PRISMs by entering their campaigns and ensure sustainable high industry standards as well as create the benchmark for the future talent pipeline of the industry. Prepping for PRISMs workshop were also held to assist for valuable tips on submitting a winning entry.

This year PRISMs once again included the Young Judges. Talented young public relations and communication management practitioners aged 21 to 30 were encouraged to send a 500-word motivation OR send a minute-long video on why they should be selected to be mentored and judge the awards alongside industry experts.
