Faith Tuelo hands over the PRISA Botswana baton to Charles Keikothlae

Botswana: The Public Relations Institute of Southern African (PRISA), is proud to announce the appointment of Mr. Charles Keikothlae as the chairman and Ms. Mpho Mokgosi as vice chairman of PRISA Botswana. The well attended Annual General Meeting was held at the MASA Hotel, Gaborone, the capital of Botswana.

Mr. Keokothlae’s appointment fulfilled PRISA’s leadership succession after deputizing Ms. Faith Tuelo. He affirmed his willingness to serve and members’ were delighted about his appointment.

These appointments not only are change of the chairman but an almost revamp of the PRISA Botswana committee with highly enthusiastic members. The new committee appointments not only form transition from the previous one. It is headed for a REnewed REvived REenergized PRISA Botswana Region.

Alongside the Chairman and Vice, a strong all newly elected committee emerged from the AGM volunteering to serve the profession. It is evident the region is all set to reclaim its yester year glory and this is indeed humbling and wish them all the best.

Speaking at the AGM Mr. Victor Sibeko – PRISA CEO said ‘Ideally the role of the region is to engage members in a wide range of programmes and activities more than ever before.’  

The new strategic approach calls for a unique PRISA Botswana Region, “This requires an increased local training with local content and case studies relevant to Botswana, use of local facilitators and lots member strategic engagement as well as networking events.’ Added Sibeko.
