PRISA COMMEMORATES INTERNATIONAL CANCER DAY AND PAY TRIBUTE TO FELLOW PROFESSIONALS

Today, Tuesday, 04 February 2020, marks World International Cancer Day. For us at the Public Relations Institute of Southern Africa (PRISA), we are saddened by the previous events that robbed us of our very special professional colleagues.

Losing someone to cancer is a painful way to deal with. Based on our hurt and  experience we commit to commemorate the day. Most importantly join the bandwagon in creating awareness.

Some of us have either lost someone close to cancer, be it family, relative, a friend. We know the pain associated with the trauma and related loss, we certainly are no strangers to such hurt.

Getting diagnosed with cancer is one of the worst fears. Let us pay attention to people with cancer, support them and spread awareness.

Most importantly be cautious of the potential causes of cancer.

We remember and pay tribute to our fallen fellow professionals.
