PRISA unite the communication industry in Southern Africa in a bid to strengthen government effort.

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic provides the Public Relations and Communication Management industry with an opportunity to combine expertise and networks thus assisting government in its efforts of containing the virus and taking South Africans through this testing time.

It is in times like these where communication often becomes a challenge. While government’s frequent communication efforts on the outbreak are commendable, there are several opinions coming from a range of stakeholders.

The pandemic is of a global nature, as a result handling it as a crisis, running campaigns, crafting consistent messages and dissemination thereof requires the accuracy and seriousness it deserves.

Please join us in setting up support networks to address issues within our own circles of influence.

Please mail your suggestions to PRISA CEO – Victor Sibeko victor@www.prisa.co.za or PRISA President – Dalien Rene Benecke rbenecke@uj.ac.za by end of business Thursday, 19 March 2020.

PRISA strives to live up to its broader vision, to be the source and voice of excellence that leads the broader communication industry through continuous development and effective collaborations.

We further seek to be the foremost member body for the communication industry and promote excellence for the benefit of communities and business in Southern Africa.
